From the suitcase?

"Can you unpack that, please?"

No, not a box or a suitcase, but a comment, an idea.

Sorry, but when did we start unpacking ideas? Do we neatly put them in cardboard boxes to be brought out when needed? What happened to "could you expand on that?" or "could you explain that, please".

Unpack? Only once I'm back from a trip away, if it's all the same with you, thanks.

  2. There was a 'thing' at one conference when, every time the word was used, there was a little flurry of said expanding arm movements from those 'in the know'.
I think that may have been the conference where we got told off for being a bit to disrespectful, or flippant, or whatever it was.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, even if just to say "Hi".
I do moderate my comments, but don't let that put you off. Go on, you know you want to!
